The interior design of this Church is intended to heighten and work with the architectural design. The overall color palette is calm and serene, with diffuse natural daylighting fully illuminating the spaces thanks to the wall and ceiling finishes. The points of focus are clear with the use of brass and natural finish European Beech wood panelling. Floor finishes are designed to be at the scale of the spaces and to naturally lead the eye to the liturgy. Certain pieces of salvaged etched exterior glass from the existing Church, that could now no longer be used in an exterior application as the building is now hurricane resistant, are creatively reused in the interior at important locations.
The interior design included sustainable design strategies for the air conditioning and lighting systems. Energy is recovered from the air that has already passed through the Worship Space and the interior lighting is largely LED fixtures.
